Create a custom quiz on your MySpace page
Did you know you could create your very own custom quiz to add to your MySpace profile page? MySpace quizzes are easy to use and free to customize. Some quizzes are already created and users can implement those or create a quiz on their own completely from scratch.
It can take a significant amount of time to create your own quiz and it has been recommended to create a quiz topic and questions before you login to make the final product. You can easily create quizzes for your MySpace profile about anything that you wish! Popular quiz topics include music, Hollywood celebrities, and quizzes to see how much your friends know about you.
Quizzes on MySpace can allow MySpace login users to discover what friends really think of them and may also contribute to users learning more about themselves as well as their MySpace friends. MySpace quizzes are just one of the many fun and easy ways to personalize your MySpace profile.
Advantages of having an active MySpace profile
There are certainly advantages to maintaining an active MySpace profile. Just think about how many people you have searched for or others who found you just because you had a MySpace profile.
MySpace login allows people to stay connected to old friends, classmates, colleagues, coworkers, family, and lots more. You can use MySpace to follow and stay up-to-date with your favorite celebrities, musicians, and performers.
MySpace music allows users to access a wide variety of musicians in order to listen to new music, post comments on the page, view pictures, and see upcoming concert and tour information about the band. MySpace music allows this unique opportunity for new artists by providing a platform to upload their music and also helps to generate a larger and more diverse fan base.
Perhaps most importantly, a MySpace profile provides users a place for personal Internet presence, and promotes self-expression and individuality.
Individuals who choose not to take part in social networking websites such as MySpace (yes, they do exist!) may not have instant access to important news including friends’ updates and upcoming concerts.
If you are one of the few people without a MySpace profile, creating an account can help expand your social network and keep you up-to-date with the latest news and events from your friends, family, and favorite musicians.
Potential MySpace sale rumors continue to swirl
MySpace for sale? Rumors continue to swirl…
Earlier this month, a MySpace spokesperson allegedly reported that the website is ready for “a new owner.” The company that currently owns MySpace reportedly purchased the site in 2005 for approximately $580 million.
Over the past 12 months, MySpace has been completely redesigned and has made other significant modifications in the website and to the company as a whole. The site now seems to place greater emphasis on media rather than intrinsically on social networking.
But will MySpace’s new design attract more interested buyers?
Perhaps more importantly, what will the introduction of a new owner mean for current MySpace login members? The eventual sale of the MySpace social networking website could undoubtedly result in more modifications to the website in the near future.
New MySpace look and feel designed to lure younger crowd
Have you noticed that MySpace.com changed their layout of the homepage and profile pages? They even have a new logo with just my l___l replacing the older look with lower case myspace.
The new look and feel is reportedly designed to lure in a younger crowd, in an attempt to split the difference with Facebook’s college-educated domination by targeting a more influential audience less dependent on Facebook to connect with other college friends.
MySpace music is also a big part of the re-design of the website. MySpace recognizes it’s strong influence still on the music industry in terms of followers and exposure to bands, rappers, and singers. Perhaps music is also more influential at a younger age, a perfect match for the goals of the recent MySpace login re-design.
MySpace to explore potential sale options?
This just in, MySpace has hired popular investment firm and bank Allen & Company to allegedly explore sale options. This comes shortly after confirmation that MySpace is cutting nearly half of its staff due to setbacks.
In recent years, the social network Bebo also sought similar relief and was acquired by AOL for some $800 million dollars to be sold later for under $10 million. MySpace recently pushed out a new look with a website re-design, including their new logo of my and a bracket to symbolize the word space.
MySpace confirms layoff, to cut 500 jobs
MySpace confirms rumors of alleged massive job cuts, as the struggling social media network will decrease in size by 47%, nearly half the size of the Myspace workforce currently. Myspace has about 1060 employees before the layoff, which will reportedly send 500 unlucky workers home jobless soon…
As Facebook and Twitter continue to soar amidst the social network’s recent struggles, most at MySpace feel that this move is necessary to make it and return to prominent social media stature. Cheif Executive Officer Mike Jones, when asked about the job cuts, offered that these were “tough but necessary changes” and “with a clear path to sustained growth and profitability.”
MySpace login has hit a plateau in recent years. However, MySpace still remains the number one online resource for music. All the big bands, rappers, and rock stars still focus heavily on MySpace music for listeners and adding as many MySpace friends as possible.
